I am a Pittsburgher who relocated to Silicon Valley, CA. for my career over 20 years ago.
In my younger years, I was a DJ on WPGH Pittsburgh 810AM from 1970-1973. I also was a DJ of South Hills Area Dances and Sock Hops from 1966-1970.
I enjoy and played on my radio show and dances much of the "TL sound" of the era (both the Garage Rock / Pgh Rock&Roll and the Music for Lovers). I continue to enjoy mostly the music of the 1960-1975 era.
Terry Lee is my favorite radio DJ of all time, and the mix of music played, especially in the WMCK years has and never will be matched. The late Mad Mike is my second favorite of all time. And I admire Porky C for his innovation in making oldies popular.
One of my passions is to recollect the hundreds of my favorite Vinyl 45s and LPs in higher quality digital format (MP3s, CDs, etc) and then listen to the music I love on my computers and my cars.
